I can’t think of a better way to kick off the holiday season than with the whose who in Atlanta!
GuestList, DryBar and W Buckhead joined forces to celebrate the holidays in style!
And the best surprise and delight in my car- free blow out and an umbrella
Rumor has it that there is a GuestList party on the radar for February 1, 2014- worth saving the date- trust me
Happy Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving was special for a few reasons:
1. Last year Thanksgiving was hell on earth and we basically skipped it
2. I am thankful to be healthy and in one piece after my accident
3. Most importantly it was our first Thanksgiving as a married couple and we hosted it at our new house with our family and friends!
I am so thankful for all of our blessings this past year!
We feasted like kings:
Egg, bacon and cheese cupcakes
Chicken and waffle sliders
Chorizo stuffed mushrooms
My special turkey
Turdunkin smoked on the Big Green Egg
Sweet Potato casserole
Smashed potato bar
Bacon wrapped French green beans
Roasted brussel sprouts
Avocado, mozzarella and tomato salad
Homemade apple pie
* I’m proud to say everything was homemade by yours truly except the Turdunkin that Brennan smoked and the sweet potato casserole my mom made.
I’m pooped….. Good night ya’ll

This has been an exciting month! If you are keeping up with Bravo’s The New Atlanta you saw me on last week’s episode blowing off steam at the gun range with Emily Lipman – if you know anywhere I can get a pink gun let me know
On Saturday I was honored to be a model in the Pink is Power Fashion Show. The American Cancer Society asked cancer survivors to be models. Most people don’t know that I am a survivor of childhood cancer but I am proud to be a survivor and continue to support the work of the American Cancer Society. The best part of the event was meeting other survivors. I met a women who had survived breast cancer and a women younger than me who is currently beating brain cancer. I was particularly inspired by the women who is recently in remission from brain cancer. Only in her 20′s, she had the most positive outlook on life and was brilliant and beautiful! The fashion show was fun but I was most thankful to have met such inspiring women.
For your amusement……..
My life never stops moving. I was back from my honeymoon for a short and overwhelming week and then back on the road to New Orleans to celebrate one of my best friend’s at her bachelorette party.
Celebrate is an understatement! We took bourbon street by surprise! Check out a few fun pictures from our weekend escapades!
Our first stop was Tropical Isle to get our weekend going with Hand Grenade’s, one of Bourbon Street’s most famous cocktails!
A little scared when we visited Madame Lalaurie’s House of Horrors on the ghost tour. If you watch American Horror story you know the crazy stuff that went on in this house.
YOLO was all we could say as we chomped on turkey legs twice the size of our arms at the BBQ & Jazz Festival.
Jackson Square is one of my favorite French Quarter sites
Little Black Dress Night to celebrate the future MRS!
We went out with a bang at Pat O’s and Goldmine!
Weekends like this past weekend make me so thankful to be surrounded by such amazing friends!
