CraftBoxGirls.com, founded by Lynn Lilly, is a destination for discovering easy, affordable and unique do-‐it-‐yourself projects (“DIY”), recipes and party inspiration.
After being laid off from her corporate job in marketing, Lynn took her savings and decided to follow her passion of crafting and entertaining. CraftBoxGirls.com, which launched in 2014, is the online destination for craft-‐enthusiasts to discover DIY made simple. Lynn is on a mission to not only share her creative ideas but to also empower and inspire women and youth to follow their dreams – whether it is turning a hobby into a business, being the best mom they can or climbing the corporate ladder.
Now three years later, CraftBoxGirls.com is sought after by many around the country looking for easy and affordable recipes for all ages. The site is not just about providing DIY’s, but Lynn also strives to encourage her readers that living a creative lifestyle is affordably obtainable. She has expanded her business by growing a team of content creators and on-camera hosts, launching an Apple TV app and releasing her first book, Screen-Free Crafts Kids Will Love (Ulysses Press), dedicated to the art of simple and obtainable crafting ideas. Lynn can be seen on her weekly television segment on NBC’s Atlanta & Company and as a guest on daytime television shows across the country, inspiring viewers with simple and easy projects. She is a Live Broadcast Host for HomeTalk, an ambassador for Cricut and Plaid Enterprises, one of the largest craft manufacturers in the world, and has worked with brands such as SouthernLiving.com, FaveCrafts.com, Simplemost, Hersey’s, Beacon Adhesives, Halo Top Creamery, Krylon Spray Paint, LA Times Festival of Books and Scotts Miracle Grow. When Lynn is not crafting she spends her time speaking at events, teaching crafting classes and volunteering with a local children’s charity. Lynn lives in Atlanta with her husband, Brennan, and their three dogs, Lolly, Ares and Tate. Lynn and her husband are eagerly preparing for the arrival of their baby girl in December 2017.
